Sometimes, my mom tries to get me to pose. It’s really pretty embarrassing for her, because I am NOT going to do half of the stupid things she says. Sometimes I’ll pose for a bacon treat, but she better be lightning fast to catch me.

This is one of those awkward, in between poses I’m talking about. I could do the Claudia Schiffer if I wanted to. I choose not to, so the humans won’t put me to work.

What? I’m a pug. Lazy is my middle name. Actually, I think my middle name might be “NOPUGNO!”.

Why did you humans put me in this giant water bowl?

Did I tell you guys I met some other pugs? I did. We went to the dog park and it must have been Pug Park day because there were like a million other pugs there! My mom says only five but whatever, she can’t count.

Anyway, I sniffed them out and they seemed pretty cool. I always thought I was the only dog with a pretty dark face and a curly tail, but once I heard those familiar snorts I knew I’d found my people. ET, puggle. No, wait, that’s different too. Pug people?

Whatever. Their butts smelled okay to me.

I’m looking for treats. Might you have any? Maybe I could trouble you for some snausages.

The pug strut is a difficult walk to get down. It’s a combination of prancing and trying not to fall over. My mom says I run sideways. I say, you must be looking at me sideways, because this pug trot is perfect.

And then I eat some leaves.
